Dosage
Rub it against the bud for 1 to 2 minutes.
How to use
Between the 10th and 30th days of age the horn buds can be easily groped on calves. First shave the hair on the bud (a circle of approx. 3 cm in diameter). The skin around the bud is to be protected by vaseline or another cream of a suitable pH value. Apply 1-2 drops of water on the hair-shaved area. Then open the stick and intensively rub it against the bud for 1 to 2 minutes. If you follow the recommended procedure and apply the stick carefully, only the necessary area is cauterised. Putting too much water on the point of application is risky. Stop the application as soon as the skin is creased and rough. After treatment, each calf must be kept in an individual box and paid special attention.
One dehorning pen is enough for dehorning 4 to 6 calves.
